The second generation of this flagship product for Panorama Cycles. The Taïga EXP is a mountain bike designed for use with drop handlebars.
Selected as one of the best off-road touring bikes by the renowned blog Cycling About, the Taïga EXP 2 is the dropbar version of their Taïga mountain bike. This makes it ideal for long distance off-road tours and mixed terrain bikepacking expeditions. It was also the bike that led Cory Ostertag to first place at the 2022 BC Epic, and the same bike that helped Marie-Pierre Savard and Cory Ostertag set new record times (FKT) at the 2022 Log Driver’s Waltz for women and men respectively.
Based on the success of the first generation, here are the changes for this iteration:
Slight modifications to the geometry, mainly to increase the front-center
Tire clearance increased to 29x2.6"
Brake mounts changed to flat mount
Shimano GRX RX820 1x12 with 10-51T cassette and hydraulic brakes
Dropper post controlled by left brake lever
