Bikeovernight To Romulus Backcountry

Where does time go? Why does it feel like time is moving faster the older you get?

I ask because it’s been 4 years since we ‘3 amigos’ - myself, Chris, and Connor had been on an bikeovernight together. Too long, far too long.

For me, bikepacking this year has been tough to make happen. Extreme busy-ness at the shop is one reason but mostly I’ve been dealing with some nagging health issues that are keeping me out of the backcountry. Thankfully the stars (and meds) aligned for the 3 of us to reunite for a quick, and thoroughly enriching overnighter to Romulus backcountry camp. What a treat.

One thing I can say about not going bikepacking as much as I would normally is that these little trips sure do replenish the soul and I am grateful to get out for even just one night.
