Be ready for tough winds and soft gravel on the range roads. You’ve been warned.
If you like the Dutch Treat route, this is similar but longer and tougher. Canals and quiet farm roads with a bonus viewpoint overlooking the Bow River at around the halfway mark. There is also a general store in Arrowwood.
Do not underestimate the difficulty of this ride. Often windy. Often soft, deep gravel on the farm roads. Bring all the water and food you think you'll need.
Start/finish at Wyndam-Carseland Provincial Park, park in day use area.
Camping also available for those that may want to spend the night before or after the ride
